A charming town by the name of Bavaro sits adjacent to the world-renowned golf courses and master-planned communities of Punta Cana. Bavaro is just a short drive of about fifteen minutes, more or less, from the Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ). Bavaro is a picturesque, bustling yet quaint community who’s predominant villages include both El Cortecito and Los Corales. Here, you’ll have within walking distance, a wealth of restaurants, bars, lounges, night clubs, and more. You’ll find such things as local shopping options, pharmacies, currency exchanges, and more. You’re short drive or “motoconcho” ride to the incredible “Palma Real Shopping Village” or “Plaza San Juan”; both of which house movie cinemas, fine dining, grocery shopping, and more.

For those who like the local life, you’ll definitely want to venture into down town Friusa, a moments’ drive from El Cortecito and/or Los Corales. Friusa has a “main street” area awash with local bars with cheap and great street food, dentists, medical centers, rental car agencies, banks, mobile phone providers, hardware stores, and so much more. You’ll love the tropical and casual feel.
