Near The Beach

These are definitively within walking distance to some of the most amazing coastlines you’ll find in the world. 

Interestingly enough, this easternmost tip of the Dominican Republic benefits from a barrier reef, running from slightly north of Punta Cana all the way to where the mainland turns inward, and northwest (Macao Beach at Uvero Alto). This means that for miles, there is a fine white sand beach and turquoise waters with moderate surf - a natural splendor that is relatively undisturbed by what would otherwise be turbulent ocean conditions.
